For Preschool Children
Story Time Fun is designed as an hour long session packed full of educational creativity, music and fun for preschool children.
There are two sessions seperated by age range.
The younger children 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 years are accompanied by their mothers/carers at all times and participate in the activities together.
The older children 2 1/2 - 4 years can participate in the session unaccompanied as long as mum/dad/carer stays on the premises.
Every week explores a different story/theme and songs, games, craft and dressing up are all linked to the weeks particular story with the format following the same pattern each session.
A typical Story Time Fun session would include:
- Welcoming circle / hello song
- Counting / nursery songs
- Story / theme / game
- Art / craft activity / playdough / clay
- Dressing up / acting out
- Book time
- Fruit / snack
